The Municipal District of Pincher Creek is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Agriculture & Environmental Services (AES) Assistant Manager to support the delivery of agricultural services, environmental stewardship programs, and legislative enforcement within the municipality.

Reporting to the AES Manager, this position plays a key role in supporting weed and pest control programs, vegetation management, agricultural extension services, and stewardship initiatives that balance agricultural productivity with environmental sustainability.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with agricultural producers, seasonal staff, and partner organizations while contributing to the long-term sustainability of the region.

Key responsibilities include legislative enforcement and inspection, vegetation management and field operations, leadership to seasonal staff crews, agricultural programs and stewardship, producer support and extension, and educational outreach.
