The Agriculture Programs Coordinator supports the implementation of the County’s Weed and Pest management program. They assist the supervisor in training and orientating seasonal staff and provide needed assistance to various agriculture related projects. The coordinator supports agricultural education and awareness through the development and delivery of training materials, the organization of County events, articles, and the publication of the Agriculture Service Board (ASB) Annual report.
Term: This is a temporary full-time position for a 12-month term with the possibility of extension up to 18 months based on operational needs and performance. To allow for proper training and onboarding the successful candidate is expected to start mid-October. The ideal candidate would be comfortable committing to the duration of the assignment with flexibility for potential extension.
