Starland County is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as the Agricultural Fieldman. The Agricultural Fieldman is responsible for administering all agricultural acts, programs, and services that are required to operate the agricultural department. The preferred qualifications for this position include post secondary education in agriculture, environmental or other related agriculture discipline. They must also hold a valid Agricultural and Industrial Pesticide Applicator Certificate. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role with supervisory experience. The applicant must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and be comfortable operating and transporting tractors, ATV’s, UTV’s and implements. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft are essential.
