Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to take your business to the next level.

This one day workshop will introduce you to the concepts of Lean thinking and Continuous Improvement. It is the start of a journey towards increased productivity and profitability through waste identification and reduction in your operation.

In today's challenging economic climate it's important for business owners to look for ways to improve efficiency, cut costs, learn how to do more with less, examine different ways of doing things and improve processes in order to remain competitive and thrive in the marketplace.

Would you like to find more hours in the day?  Are you interested in improving your work processes, costs, and profitability? Not sure where to start?

Then please join us for "Closing the Gap" - an introductory, hands-on workshop where you will explore the concept of "continuous improvement," a holistic approach to identify sources of waste, develop better processes and organization, improve your line or production layout, and overcome specific challenges and bottlenecks in your business.

Given the challenging harvest conditions this year we have rebranded and rescheduled this workshop to January 11, 2017 to better accommodate your business needs. Please refer to the attached flyer for the new registration deadline date and join us for a day of learning led by an industry expert in the field of process efficiency and continuous improvement.

Explore Local will be offering an advanced workshop and one-on-one coaching program for qualified businesses. Completion of the “Closing the Gap” workshop is a pre-requisite. Participation in this advanced customized program will be limited to eight businesses. For $150.00, businesses (to a maximum of three people) will receive: two full-day workshops on advanced productivity topics, a one-day on-site assessment, a half-day on-site progress visit, a half-day wrap-up workshop, monthly phone coaching, and all associated training materials.  The advanced workshops will be held in Airdrie on February 8th and March 8th, 2017.
